These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the getbusbar.com website, operated by Merseyway LLC d/b/a Busbar ("Busbar", "we", "us", or "our"), 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. By accessing this website you agree to these Terms.

1. The software is licensed separately

The Busbar software is open-source and licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (AGPL-3.0-or-later). These Terms cover your use of this website only — they do not modify or supplement the AGPL license that governs your rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute the Busbar software. Your rights and obligations with respect to the software are determined solely by the AGPL-3.0-or-later license.

2. No warranty

This website is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

The Busbar software is likewise provided without warranty, as set out in the AGPL-3.0-or-later license.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Merseyway LLC and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) this website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.

4. Acceptable use

When using this website you agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems
  • Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful or disruptive content
  • Use automated tools to scrape or crawl the website in a manner that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure

"Busbar" and the Busbar logo are trademarks of Merseyway LLC. Nothing in the AGPL-3.0-or-later license or in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or logos without our prior written permission.

This website may contain links to third-party websites, including GitHub. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Links do not imply endorsement.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming.
